FINALLY....!

At the end of the seminar period the first CERTIFICATE of PARTICIPATION is provided as a document for participating the relevant semester program.

But the more important FINAL CERTIFICATE with all details about attended seminars, lecturers and institutions, workloads, credit points under ECTS is provided after all assignments have been submitted end of February 2014 - so still some work to do....

Sept. /Oct. 2013: Field Visit to Nusa Lembongan Island for survey of "value chain analysis" of economy and tourism.

Participants are interviewing local people and tourists to evaluate the impact of growing tourism on traditional income activities of seaweed farmers in that tiny island and to carry out a SWOT analysis.

Students enjoy several days excursions to touristic and cultural highlights and spectacular landscapes of Bali, like Tanah Lot, Besakih at Mount Agung, Kintamani with Mount Batur, Ubud and Monkey Forest. All excursions are regular part of introduction to Balinese culture and included in the tuition fee.

September 2013: Experiencing the Balinese culture also means participating in traditional rituals: here a priest gives blessings for a good beginning of the new semester at EOC.
